Just a quickie post today to announce the 1.0 launch of my new WordPress widget plugins, “Twollowers” and “Twitter Search“.

Twollowers is quite simple: it shows your Twitter follower count. However, its ajaxified and self updates if you get any new followers whilst the page is open. Thank you jQuery.

Twitter Search was a request I got from a fellow tweeter mattcheney for a neat sidebar widget that will display the latest search results for a particular phrase in Twitter, ie #obama or @SteveReynolds for example… anything you want really. Again, it self updates every 10 seconds with any new results…
