The newly launched Recovery.gov site from Barack Obama is using jQuery. Not surprising, since it’s likely the same developers as the whitehouse website. The difference this time though is the site is built on Drupal.

It’s a little early for me to tear into the code, but from a brief look they’re definitely using the Thickbox jQuery plugin again… I recently discussed a great implementation of it in the WordPress Administration package.
There is a heck load of Drupal javascript in there, with some of it concentrating on Ajax calls for the search, and site sign up forms… don’t think they’re using most of it though…
