iPhone 3.1.2 Released – Features & Changes

Just Posted: Apple Likely to Give Education Rather than Resolution for iPhone 4 Antenna Issues

Apple has today released the iPhone 3.1.2 version of their OS.

Details of the release included:

- Resolves sporadic issue that may cause iPhone to not wake from sleep
- Resolves intermittent issue that may interrupt cellular network services until restart
- Fixes bug that could cause occasional crash during video streaming

In addition to this there is also a AT&T carrier update file.

I’ve just installed it, there doesn’t seem to be much difference to anything else – maybe it’s snappier :)

No reason to update for me until tethering is back. Let me know.

When will they fix the battery drain issue? I upgraded by daughter’s iTouch and the battery now lasts only half as long. I’m not upgrading my phone until I know they’ve fixed that.

Also, hope they eventually allow us to choose which “calendar” (ie; orange, red, blue) when adding or editing a calendar event. And better syncing with Outlook’s calendar.

  5. i can say that the iPhone 3G has the best design and erconomics when it comes to 3G phones. ..
